Not for me at all

What did you dream your future partner would be like when you were a little girl?

A good father

Is your relationship with your partner the same as your parents’ relationship?

N/A. But in a future relationship I would like it to be

How like your mother are you?

It depends on the situation but in terms of her passion and excitement I think we are very similar, I just wish I had her work ethic!

What are your hopes for any daughters or young women you know?

That they feel utterly free to do what they want in life, no matter what path that may be

Do you bring your son up the same way as your daughter? Do you think boys and girls should be brought up differently?

I don’t have children but I should hope not, I know it is inevitable to have differences but as much as possible they should have the same upbringing

If you don’t have children, what have you been able to do that having children would have prevented you doing? What has your focus been?

I am free to travel!

Expectations and Dreams:

What has been your favourite age to be and why?

So far, 21

Do you think it’s better to be young now than when you were young? (Or better now than when your parents were young?)

Yes and no, I don’t like how now there is so much focus on technology and social media etc which wasn’t a thing when my parents were young, which sounds quite liberating. Also university was free and houses were a lot more affordable. But I think we have a lot more opportunities to do exciting things now

What are the pros and cons of being a woman?

Pros: being passionate and emotional and loving, being able to grow an entire new person in our wombs, the feeling of sisterhood and solidarity. Cons: sexual harassment, feeling unsafe, general inequalities in how we are viewed in the world
